it's honestly wild how hard vanilla elden ring dropped the ball with its multiplayer system. i ended up having some especially fun / close invasions too, including one where i simply had to concede defeat and bowed as i was cut down.

i like it because it feels like the characters have agency, even though they obviously don't if you think about it for more than a second.
