Yes, Trump is a bull in a china shop but that does not change the reality that the empire needs revenue.
Trump is not doing anything else that is required to bring manufacturing to the US. A multi decade plan is required that includes better/different education of the masses.
The empire is not able or not willing to make that investment and I fear it may not even be capable of enacting such a long term project.

The regime may have different factions but any fighting between them is a fight of means not of goals. All sides are to me bad because none of the factions act in my interests, it is that simple.
