The healthy option is not to eat protein pop tarts but to not eat any pastries at all. If you are serious about weight loss you will not buy anything remotely similar to a pastry ever again. Just dont buy them. If you dont buy them you wont eat them
When you throw them into your shopping cart they are as good as eaten. You have failed at that point.
If you are serious about weight loss I offer this challenge: Never buy any multipack junk food ever again. If you must cave you can buy a small 100-150kcal chocolate bar. A singular one. If you are even more serious make it so you have to walk to and from the store every time you buy groceries.
