i've got a great answer for this: when i was in high school i was completely infatuated with the skater guy who everyone wanted (i know, real basic) but he was big into fingerboarding/techdecks and he would usually bring his boards to school and mess around with them during whatever downtime we had. well i decided that this was my ticket to finally losing my virginity. so i bought a couple boards, spent hours trying to learn tricks, and then one day i sat next to him as he was messing around with his, brought mine out, tried to do a single kickflip, fucked it up, and he laughed at me. that night might have been the hardest i've ever cried in my whole life.
