(Part 2)
>The only idol episode that felt interesting for the first time in a while was Kite appearing. "I was so desperate to sign autographs that I couldn't see the faces of the fans at all. As an idol, she's less than a professional.'' It seemed like a very different person from before. Personally, it's better than "a nice but handsome guy who doesn't know what he's thinking". It is nice to have a good-looking guy who speaks and acts harshly but accurately.
Kaito is still pretty milquetoast, but at least he did have cool interactions in that last episode. Women need a man that is a little bit harsh to them, to keep them in shape.
>With Villain Conference, there is no drama or activity. With Cutty leaving and Zackley left as the only active member, everything is monotonous and the same executive come out and say the same thing every time and then leave. The repeated power harassment are boring to death.
>If this is all you can do, I want you to roughly cut the villain meeting.
lmao.
>What comes next? It just repeats thin content, and even major events such as the Prillun memory are short, and in the end it returns to normal and there is no progress. There's no digging into the idol, even the character's personal goals are completely zero, and there's no drama in sight. This thinness is more than expected. I'm at a loss as I watch it because it's so empty. It's supposed to be half over, so what on earth are you going to do? Many Pretty Cures have been thin, but not this bad before.
I just continue to be flabbergasted at how Toei fucking BLEW THEIR LOAD finally with idols, and THIS is the best they came up with. It's like they're afraid to even embrace the supposed theme of the show, Maho-style. Right now in 2025 it is still impossible to discuss Wonderful because it's too new, and it has the curse of newbad hate contrarianism. But mark my words, a decade from now Wonderful will be in everyone's Top 5, easily. This show though? Not looking likely.
