Show would have been peak if it had a full season to develop everything. As it stands this is just a 7/10 at best, being generous, carried on good characters and interesting world-building.

Also doesn't help that I've just come off a binge of a series with actual good combat (ys) so soulslop feels unbearably clunky and slow.
