I agree that goodness and altruism gets fucked over pretty bad. That's probably part of why I haven't really gone anywhere in life. Just not cutthroat enough and too soft and nice for This Society. Doesn't mean we should discard our symbols of goodness though. Even if a stinky jew made it.
