We have hit a point where if we don't get insane powercreep the characters don't sell so new characters will just keep getting stronger and stronger until that initial set of (previously good) euphorias are considered absolute garbage.
You can already see it happening with some of the better ones:

Jiu moved down to T1 already, Sazabi and Jessica are dropped all the way down to R2 and Lilya is now slumming it with Shamane who never had a good euphoria.
The worst part is this process is speeding up rather than just being "every patch cycle is a big jump" so now in just the span of two patches previously amazing characters can become "garbage".
They were meant to release characters that need to be part of teams to work fully to counter this but they ONLY did that with impromptu, every new team now has every single unit be utterly broken.
This is the future BP chose.
