I've also gotten the itch to play through Johto again, this time using Meganium (only one of the three Johto starters I haven't used yet). I've already played Soul Silver a couple of times, and considering that I'm a Zoomie who's never played any of the original 2 gens, I was thinking of playing Crystal instead of SS - of course, with Yanma and Piloswine instead of their gen 4 evolutions. The problem is that you get Remoraid and especially Slugma really late - I was thinking of looking up a romhack that 'fixes' the distribution, but I feel like that'd take away from getting to experience the originals as they were. But I'd really like to try out these specific Pokémon...
What do you guys recommend I do?
