I don't like DoA's sliding timeline. Willis said he didn't want the comic to slowly become a period piece but in practice every strip is a period piece of when it was written, especially since Willis can't keep himself from making pop culture and technology references. Plus he wants DoA to be political and socially relevant, but politics moves way too fast for this type of comic, and desu things are a lot crazier now than they were in 2010. Nowadays Mary would be cutting the ribbon on Alligator Alcatraz, Roz would be running for mayor of New York, and Dorothy would be taking L after L like every other establishment democrat for the past ten years.
