Bocchi is just a very likable character. She's cringe, but not so cringe as to be a turn-off like her predecessor Tomoko was, allowing her to achieve mass appeal. She also has a very simple, but recognizable character design that can be slotted into many different situations, just like Hatsune Miku and Hakurei Reimu, making her a prime reference for aspiring artists to practice character illustration with.
