Siggid knew he was playing a changeling at this point also knew the last ep, its subtle but his performance does change, a little more controlled a little bit smug, this is why you plan for twists and tell actors whats coming, that way if they are decent actors they can alter their characterization ever so slightly that on re-watch you notice that hints were their the while time. Apparently he was pissed off about the genetic enhancement reveal, not the reveal it self but that it wasn't planned so he couldn't work in some bits and pieces hinting at it, watching these eps I see his point, for all bashirs over the top enthusiasm and nativity, siggid can really be quite nuanced when the writing calls for it. Also why Ed Harris was pissed off he wasn't told about the twist in WW s1, even if that one was planned.
