I agree, but I've found that most people will use it at a comfortable forty percent or more to where they can afford that window of exposure even in a worst case scenario. It reminds me a bit of Riddle of Earth on Monk, except the heal is a bit more consistent and there's less of a risk overall.

It's more-so tech that I've both seen and been told by some avid Viper players that's existed for a while, and I imagine only got better with the recent buffs. It's probably one of those things where as the job keeps being picked as much as it is, people are going to get used to it, but it still remains pretty powerful for an all-rounder melee job currently.
