Having no idea what I've just done or where this is going I just shrug my shoulders and play along, but not before using the third save slot juuuuust in case.
We head over to the remote tower where Izanami uses her power to dump us over at Lucifer's castle for the final confrontation.
His castle proves to be surprisingly easy, especially now that I can pretty easily stomp most mobs without demons despite being fairly certain I'm under leveled.
I reach Lucifer and he tells me a story about how his God exterminated all the other gods, sundering the most powerful ones into various parts and labeling them as "Demons." Baal was one of the first to suffer this fate. Those humans who stood with the old gods were also slaughtered by The One True God hoping to snuff the other gods out entirely in both life and memory.
Lucifer wraps up his speech with an offer for us to join his ranks that we may smite God together.
He makes a pretty convincing argument, but on the other hand he's the fucking devil.
