I don't hate the artstyle here but Dr. Seuss really had a unique style to his work that i dont see like any of the cgi adaptations really get down.
Best way i can describe it is a sort of charming ugliness, characters have wrinkles on their faces, the hatching on most surfaces makes everything look scratchy, theres a certain way cloths are drawn that makes everything look like a sock that just doesn't fit right.
ealizing this im kinda bummed that this doesn't even feel like it takes those things into account or builds upon them in any specific way. Characters just kinda look like they came from a DreamWorks movie and don't really feel like Dr Seuss to me (The eyes really give it off).

Honestly, the makeup for the Jim Carrey Grinch movie might be the closest we got to the vibe of Dr Seuss's art
