And furthermore, actual good crpgs are limited to things that are either so popular "grognards" (slav poseurs) hate them like bg3 or stuff people don't even know about like Knights of the Chalice and Dawn'sbury Days. I think this genre is better off dead when it's a legion of the aforementioned bandit killing simulators or alternatively grim braindead feat stackers like underrail, owlcat and infinity engine games. Better to just let the whole genre die.
