in a lot of stuff that has both they usually play up reed's engineer side with gadgetry in addition to his stretchiness

but even without that his mannerisms are pretty different from kamala. not that he doesn't also do stretchy punches, but man loves to put his whole-ass body into it, bounce around and grapple a lot, while she tends to go harder on embiggened punches/kicks and strikes. it really wouldn't be that hard to make them play fairly differently.
