it's really hard for us modern men to understand just how savage humans really used to be
we're still the same, just protected by the confines of society and modernity
wyald does a really good job of reminding the reader what people can be like with zero limitations, that's why i like his character so much
seeing him do the things he did, for the reasons he did them, triggered some sort of genetic memory of when my ancestors lived in an untamed era and actually had to deal with people like him
i took his arc very seriously
