Don't know if it's lack of imagination or whatever, but if Pokemon did exist I couldn't see them as anything more than best friends and family. Even with Pokemon I objectively like design wise like Zoroark, Gothitelle, Mawile, Roserade, Obstagoon, Primarina, I just don't see the romanticism.
