Me neither.
Lucius is at that point where you inevitably learn the villain was manipulated from the shadows or he was just a tragic figure, it just feels like that.
Dante with like 10% of current Lucius power was making Black Holes, Aircraft Carrier sized Swords, actually competent CQC.
I hate when i feel the author is dumbing down things just for plot's sake, im not a very intelligent person, so when even i can notice it easily, it angers me, lol.
Only way Lucius can redeem himself (only accounting for his lack of efficient spell usage) would be if he actually says "Im not as good as my brother using gravity/spatial/bone magic" and he brings back the Triad, but that's less likely with every chapter.
