Rokumon used the term 魔法陣 which is just literally magic circle. Also, I did find a magic circle that looks like this one (it seems to match the poster as well), but the only place I saw it was the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha fanwiki? I can't find another source for this specific one with Pi and Delta. They call it the Midchildan Circle. I can't find anyone saying if it is based on an actual thing from Arcs Goetia or some other occultism thing.
It would be pretty funny if Rumiko looked up "magic circle" and copied a design closely from an anime from 2004, but I don't see that as likely.
