I'll concede that Koishi's fight is more fun gameplay wise since I'm a huge sucker for extra stages and you could say that Satori's fight is nothing more than recycling with the excuse of fanservic, however that is simply how videogames work.
In terms of personality, i never considered her cute nor shy and always saw her as the smug, physically weak type (like Patchouli but better). I'll take that over "genki girl #26" any day of the week.
