I won't even mention the sawn off shotguns, because that's such a common thing in all kinds of settings
But the 223 pistol is an oddity because they both give it a design that's "obviously the gun from Blade Runner" but even Fallout 1 also gives it lore about just being a rifle that was shortened by a caravan rider for portability (and in the early 20th century shortened rifles were also common, since literally 100,000,000+ four foot long, ten pound monsters were made for the world wars, but they never looked like that)
