The Izuna-hō/Dagini rite says you can get a fox worker if you befriend a pregnant vixen with fried bean curd, then name one of her cubs when she brings it to you. The named cub then gives info and sneaky services in exchange for daily food. Generally considered heretical but not evil, probably since it's a dishonest way to get a spirit fox via food luring. A less degenerate way of getting a fox (without hidden strings) would be service to an Inari or Dakiniten. Or just donate to foxes via charities, they do deserve stuff
