The game was made to sell high-end Gpus and to pander to all the people who got filtered by Eternal.
The game is receiving updates to make the game harder but the damage is already done.
The dragon was updated to feel less like a turret section and behave more freely but alas, too late.
The game is all the downsides of the modern series and it is a let down to the fanbase Eternal and Doom 2016 created. Eternal and Doom 2016 spawned and entire subgenre that the indie market already surpassed.
It is not that parry does not work in a FPS as much as that Dark Ages implemented it poorly.
I need to get something off my chest.
Much like how I do not like Stellar Blade design because it is too provocative, Dark Ages leans in the other direction. Thira original design was great but then it was changed at the request of some fucking MTG tranny (look up and employee called Avacyn Shurmon) and Thira was buried in 7 layers of clothing and made her ugly for some fucking reason.
That is enough evidence for me to believe Bethesda was micromanaging the game reason why it sucks, I mean there are more reasons like the level design being objectively dogshit and the music is trash but you could argue that DA was made on a tight schedule. I really hope Id software turns this game around but I feel it will be for nothing.
