Yeah, unfortunately it's a key aspect in the original story Tanngrisnir's from. Even with Thor's hammer being able to revive his goats, one of them ended up with a limp leg thanks to a farmer's son breaking one their bones in a stew to eat the marrow inside. It's also why he's simultaneously not fond of Macan yet still very eager to offer stew to others.
