i just don't understand what is the point in trying to recreate it one to one in vr.
if you think about it, planes were always just cope, people wanted to fly like birds so they invented tools to do that.
we overcame the limitations of nature and reality and now can fly, using whatever means

but why recreate the metaphorical cage of reality in a virtual world?
the fundamental physical limitations no longer exist, the tools are only needed for structure and to ease the mental understanding
so shouldn't we create better, more fun, "tools" then?
