You know, as cool the idea of a Deus Ex Machina literally coming around to kick our asses in the weird route is-- it's still unlikely.
Up 'til now, even characters close to Noelle are perfectly fine with you fucking around with her and doing bad shit. Even Gerson seems to be on board with you going down this route so long as you understand what you're doing and don't just give up at the end. For anyone that does the route with the intention of getting closer to Noelle, or trying to get her and Kris back together? Yes, outright, it's insanity. With the Thorn Ring on, she can't say no. That's statutory-- she literally cannot be in a relationship with Kris nor anyone else at this point because it isn't truly "her" anymore. Regardless of if the Thorn Ring modifies her will, she's scared-- she's really fucking scared. She'll say anything you want at this point and that's what gets people hooked the most.
So yes, you could be right, things might be working out to kick our asses. But for now, with how they're going, we're purposefully being tempted with a fallen angel at our fingertips, and I only HOPE it is "most" everyone that doesn't care for it.
