But if you actually manage to dig around and get lucky, Taiwan has a fucking fascinating domestic RPG history on PC. Lost of old influential games, some series that are still going to this day. I don't know how non-Japan east Asian countries do their thing, but as gaming got bigger and more successful in recent times, most of them are too young or were too poor to give a shit about the history of their medium in their own country.
