no, since May i opened up the game once a week to check Ada, Banshee, Xur, and the bright dust shop
i haven't touched this shit event at all, and i thought i wanted to play it when Prophecy finally became available, but when the time came i just didn't care

i had the tiniest bit of hope that the new expansion would be good and also look good, i thought that an expansion about the Nine would have something to do with the Unknown Space and the Haul that Drifter is tugging around with his ship, and i even thought maaaaaybe they'd bring back the Reckoning
i also thought Tyson Green would save us but he's fucking crafting and doing soft sunsetting 2.0 instead

i love the Nine aesthetic but what we get instead is some shitty planet covered in mold with self insert Gordon Freeman and Fallen and great value Metroid, fuck off
the shit they showed in May killed my desire to play the game harder than gear sunsetting did in 2021, and back then when Beyond Light released i stopped playing completely and only came back for Season of the Chosen because they stopped with the gear sunsetting
at least Beyond Light was still about Destiny, i don't know what the fuck this shit is about any more or even who is it for
