Your post makes a great point but it's the opposite of the one you intended. A dominant strategy doesn't outright invalidate a game, whether that's a top tier fighting game character or exploiting boss AI quirks; to actually execute these things consistently you still need some understanding of how the game works. If you don't and just stumble into them every time, THAT'S when it's too much, and nothing in this thread so far reaches that point.
