Normies could easily save a few thousand IF they were willing to lower their standards or cut their expenses on pointless shit. Yet the majority of this country couldn't afford a $1000 emergency.

They are literally debt slaves. And they chose it. You can choose to be prudent, make sacrifices, live within your means, and invest. That's what I did. Two years ago I was digging between the sofa for change to buy $7 of gas to get to work at Amazon. Now I make 90k, debt free, and work 30 hours a week. I had to sacrifice to get this. Normies cannot/will not do this and thus will remain poor.
