Already upgraded to a 7700X a couple years ago. AM5 had(has?) an issue with the memory training on every boot, but tweaking a couple settings solves it. Might not be an issue on newer BIOS' anymore idk.

Also the weird new heat spreaders tend to get thermal paste in the little nooks, but aftermarket contact frames are inexpensive and you can get a nice nearly-flush fit. Not super important but it prevents a mess when it comes time to repaste.
