>I know Ermor felt pretty confident throughout
I'm gonna be honest here, I thought I was gonna get wrecked at every turn.
>the monkeys have a shitload of priests
>15 Man knights kill 400 skeletons without a single loss, and there's like 700 of them coming my way
>Nazca is big and has big priests and death and fire magic, good counters to my hordes
>R'lyeh can easily catch my commanders because I barely have non-mindless troops
I was coasting on 50 mages spamming shadow bolt until the very end, with Darkness as the one big upgrade. I'm honestly surprised I won.
The only other time I ever won with Ermor was that one time like a decade ago when everyone trusted the friendly merchant Ermor and no one attacked me for like 80 turns, and instead fed me hundreds of gems in exchange for actually pretty good information on their enemies, items, etc. I was running a whole damn exchange house, protection racket, and information broker all rolled into one, and profiting left and right. Then I cast Utterdark with like 400 gems overcast. Everyone was pooling gems to take it down. Then I put it up again with no overcast. They pooled EVERYTHING to take it down, thinking it'd be even worse. And then I put it up again with like 700 gems overcast. Everyone declared peace among themselves and war against me, but soon everyone was down to endless waves of wolves and skellyspam, and soon after everyone gave up. That was fun.
