She gets a red hp bar upon dying, as long as she heals once during it she will return to normal HP again. This repeats. She has to be one shot before she gets healed. Her healing doesn't need to exceed the red hp bar or anything, just that she heals above 0 again.

Thorns-alt S1 doesn't count as character healing, once he throws the orb it's not owned by anyone, it's becomes a map gimmick like healing/bleed tiles. This is why he can't work with stuff like Yu S3 burn. So even if she denies regens like perfumer/angelina, thorns-alt will always work
