What the fuck does a strategist even do
From the name I'd expect them to have a large range, so they can see what's going on and strategise, be able to summon or set up point on the map where something happens, maybe buffs or debuffs
But this 5* just seems to be a basic vanguard.
2 range, no skill range extension, nothing else shown, and the skill looked like just a basic self buff.

Lately I think Flametail might be a better vanguard than Ines.
Maybe it’s because I finally m3’d her s3 and gave her the y module with more multiplier damage on dodge it feels pretty good using her now.
Ines will just let stuff walk past her way too often and she does less damage. But I use only s2, maybe I should work on her s3 to fix that?

Also there is absolutely no way SilverAsh will end up being one. Vanguards don't deal damage and he has to deal damage just like the Lord version does. So worse case scenario is a "vanguard" in the same way Exia is a "geek".

I felt the same the first few days trying it, but like it more than I thought. I do use lots of FRD and Ambushers though. Leizi2 probably will make it way easier to pull out, she can't be hit normally while being a beacon for it, and she deals mixed Arts/Phys which S3 debuffs help both.

Haruka S3 has some synergy with Ange IS mod which is great in IS3 at least, but the problem of living those super high damage hits still stands since reading that kit she has to heal first to apply the Shelter bubble unless I'm being stupid. But I didn't get to check the stream, do the bubbles also block a hit when taking damage? I'll try it when she releases at least, worth a shot, depends on numbers. On another note, that Thorns S3 like S2 seems great for most general content. Basically Quercus on steroids.
