He literally said, JAI/Odin/Zig/Rust/etc doesn't have enough good features to actually warrant switching from a familiar language like C/C++, because most professional C/C++ programmer's already have custom solutions that deals with 99% problems of C/C++. Metaprogramming, Stretchy Buffers, Unity Builds, etc
So basically:
