They don't come up often, but there are a few that sold in the last year for a little more than my LCS is charging. I have many libertads, but none are reverse proof. I don't plan on selling it, but rather gifting it to my son (this coin is his birth year). I can afford it, it's just strange paying so much for so little as I've focused mainly on spot deals for the last few years.

I did just watch a 2025 5oz libertad sell for 3kusd. Even though I love them, I don't look at them as numismatic. Am I wrong?
