It was entertaining/alright but with many caveats. Superman parents/Kryptonian culture being actually evil was a terrible change in one of the core things in the "lore", and it really felt like it was doctored by Luthor but apparently not. And Luthor is way too evil, I don't think that in the comics he executes innocents just to get back at Superman... And that whole border invasion scene was honestly embarassing. Super tech army in one side and peasants with pitchforks in the other waiting to be slaughtered? Why not just show that they have just a shitty army with old tanks, it was way too ridiculous.
