Damn. What do you mean the rating's fart? It's single-hit B-32 API and per the buff test it's good for about six 5.56 with fair hit spacing. You're not able to meet Level IV but M2AP is a damn rare threat.
Pic rel is the GEN-5B plate that supplemented the 28595s. It's apparently 4.4lb for a medium, so incrementally lighter. They're on at least GEN-6 now but I've never seen those "second hand".
