You really nailed it. I think part of the problem is also that there's not much to talk about here, except for the eternal yuri seethe. The lore reveals from Vanadis Heart and M&W book haven't been enough to spark discussion either (except just kinda confirm or clarify some stuff that we've already known/suspected). The villains aren't interesting enough for people to do the usual "they did nothing wrong" dance with Gundam villains, especially since the show ended up spelling how wrong they were about everything (last episode even has Shaddiq's former lackey straight up admit that his plan for Earth didn't work as intended). The one thing people consistently enjoy are mechanical designs and the soundtrack, and when there's agreement, there is not much to discuss. That really only leaves the characters as the main source of discourse, but again, there are not many things to discuss, other than shipping. I have tried to make threads about G-Witch's story that aren't about the main couple, but those threads rarely spark any kind of discussion or interest, and die after max 15 posts or so. Everything has been pretty much settled in discussing G-Witch from its quality to its lore, so now the only thing left is to just seethe and bait about dykes.
