you might as well complain about toasters because you can literally get way better toast by frying bread in oil/mayo on a pan
honestly i don't get why there wasn't some massive rollout of overengineered ranges that contain 50 different features, there's so many fucking extremely useful gadgets (microwave, air fryer, pressure cooker, sous vide, slow cooker, smoker [they have indoor ones now], dehydrator, yogurt maker, steamer, etc.) i can't believe that they haven't been building them into your typical stove for the past 20 years.
