I can copy things somewhat decently, but I still can't into appeal. I think appeal is like talent, some people can produce it almost effortlessly, their five minute doodles have more charm than the pieces I spend hours working on. I've done dozens of studies like pic related and yet I haven't been able to steal the appeal of a better artist, instead people keep telling me that my drawings are ugly, and I honestly agree, I don't think I'd save drawings in my style if I saw them in the wild. I guess in a way I too am a permabegschizo.
