Marvel pairings are great. Xaaron/Impactor stems from there as well and I also ship Galvatron with Cyclonus thanks to Marvel. I have never seen western fanart of them I think, seems to be more popular in Japan.
I don't interact much with the western fandom outside of anon boards anymore because most of them seem to be into the same few pairings that I unluckily don't care about or they prefer fanon over canon and fanon usually bores me, especially if it's fluff. Notice how Horri-Bull/Needlenose is a canon gay pairing but nobody talks about it because they're "problematic". I just think they're fun and underrated as hell.
