If I had a nickel for 2025 spring shows headed by seasoned and acclaimed industry figures which both spend their first halves on meandering aimless character setup before speedrunning their second halves on their actual plots to disappointing results, I would have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it's happened twice.
