In combat, I mainly use kinetic spells for offense - some favorites:
Kinetic Awl: Launch piercing force. Extremely condensed attack good for destroying high defense.
Chaotic Kinetic Blades: Launch a ball of kinetic energy that explodes into a sphere (or other shape) full of tiny kinetic blades moving chaotically. Shreds things that have low defense.
Kinetic Energy Imbue: Imbue something with kinetic energy, typically for launching it at extremely high speed as an attack. Can be used on the caster themself for extremely high speed unidirectional movement, but they must have sufficient defense to avoid killing themselves.
Kinetic Energy Suppression: Strip kinetic energy from targets to slow or stop them from moving. Deadly against fast moving targets if only certain parts of them are stripped of kinetic energy.
