It's abundantly clear that God approves of the Bible, otherwise He would have communicated to His followers in various ways that it needed correcting a long time ago.

Sin is exactly what the Word of God tells us it is, and we see it both around the world, and also in these countless testimonies of people suffering badly by giving themselves up to sin. And then only being saved and doing better by giving themselves to Jesus and making the free will choice to not sin any longer.
