sin

๐
Dear friends, today I'd like to share with you some material that is about struggling with lust and sexual sin. There are certainly many people who are struggling these days with a pornography addiction, unfortunately. And you could say that on the other end of it, you have all of the people who are creating the pornography, who suffer as well.
There are people who aren't even followers of Jesus yet, and they have testified experiencing the harmful effects of sexual sin.
"โIโm telling you the solemn truth,โ Jesus replied. โEveryone who commits sin is a slave of sin." (John 8:34, NTFE)
This verse emphasize the truth that engaging in sin, particularly as a habitual practice, leads to a state of bondage or enslavement to sin's power. You will never be free and content with your life as long as you keep sinning. Only Jesus can help set you free from the bondage of sin.
"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36, NIV)
christcucks are literally not real people
they are npcs and they must be dealt with as such
spit on all christcuck posts with contempt
never let them feel like they are valid
reject them at every turn and belittle their juvenile ideas
push them to the edges of the site and never let them return
Watch 3d porn, then promise yourself you will never watch porn again.
I can tell you as I've confessed before on here, that I myself struggle with sin sometimes as well. Whenever I'm weak in my faith and then (temporarily) let Jesus go, I go back to my usual sinful ways: being drawn to immorality, the morbid, the macabre, hatred, inappropriate fantasies, defrauding others, and not respecting my family.
The main reason why I can recognize those sin habits and detest them is because of the Holy Spirit. He helps convict you of sin.
"But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." (John 14:26, NIV)
>>40610285It saddens me that you have so much hatred in your heart. It's really inane to even bother replying and bumping a thread that you claim to be against. What bothers you so much about Jesus, friend? He loves you and wishes only the best for you.
>>40610288I assume you're being facetious. Otherwise, you should know that drawn pornography is still immoral.
Here's a screenshot I once took of a google images result after searching for "porn ruined my life". You can tell that this is a pervasive problem.
Jewish atheist turns to Jesus
"Neil was a Jewish atheist trapped in a decades-long addiction to pornography and sex, living a double life filled with shame, secrets, and self-destruction. But when his marriage was on the brink and his lies were exposed, he cried out to a God he didnโt even believe inโand everything changed. In this raw, powerful testimony, Neil shares how Jesus transformed his heart, healed his marriage, broke the chains of addiction, and gave him a new life."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwwoVvjGB5c
Comments underneath the video:
"This testimony shows how much Jesus loves us. Letโs take a moment to applaud his wife for her Christ-like love and compassion. Our brothers and sisters in Christ play such a major role also. This is why the devil plants so many of his agents in churches to cause so much hurt and pain so people walk away from church. May The Lord continue to keep His hands on our brotherโs life and may He draw ever closer to Our Lord"
"Thank you for sharing such a powerful testimony. I have many friends who are Jewish, and I pray that more of them will come to know Jesus Christ as their savior in these last days."
"Your testimony really made me cry to see the power of Jesus to made you believe in him. Everyone goes through all problems but Jesus is real. I hope a lot of people from the Jewish community could learn from your great experience in a real God and the Holy Spirit."
>>40610280 (OP)Pro tip for bro.
When you desire to sin, be it lust, wrath or what have you, immediately get down on your knees and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to take that away from you, and He will without fail, no exceptions.
The issue here is, it's a 100% up to you whether or not you want the help, and quite frankly and to my great shame, I've many times done my share of avoidance in this respect, but if you truly desire not to sin, just call upon Him right away and He will quench that evil lust for you.
The "effects" may last anything from minutes to days, so be ready to do this more than once.
Don't put it off, don't play mind games and don't fool yourself into thinking that just "peeking" into a filthy thought isn't fully sinning; it is.
>>40610339>How porn addiction became a buzzword I can sellThese people are more shameless than porn whores.

>DAIGU SOCHIKU
>ๅคงๆๅฎ็ฏ
>Died on the sixteenth day of the seventh month, 1669 past the age of eighty
Daigu was raised in a Zen monastery. While he was still a young monk, a woman asked him to hold a funeral service for her son. After the burial she asked, โWhere has my child gone?โ Daigu had no answer for her, and the incident shook him profoundly. He abandoned the monastery and went to be alone in the mountains.
Daigu was fond of drinking; it is said that he was usually half-drunk. He did not restrain his speech and used to insult people while conversing with them. In spite of his eccentricity, or perhaps because of it, people from all ranks of society were drawn to him, and they would come to him on the mountain to hear his words.
Daigu later moved to Edo, where he gave sanctuary in his temple to two women, mistresses of a daimyo from whom they had escaped. This act added to already existing rumors about Daiguโs relationships with women, but Daigu gave them no heed. Because of the bad name such behavior gave him, his rise in the religious hierarchy was delayed, but Daigu himself did not care for power and authority.
When an honorable post was at last offered him, he refused it on the grounds that he would be dismissed anyway because of his peculiar character.
>>40610431The name Daigu, which the monk chose for himself, means โgreat fool.โ To his self-portrait he added these words: โThis monk is bound in chains of ignorance and lust. He is not able to follow the way of the Buddha. As his name is, so is heโa great fool.โ
Lying on his deathbed, Daigu wrote the following:
>Needles pierce my ailing body, and my pain grows greater. This life of mine, which has been like a diseaseโwhat is its meaning? In all the world I havenโt a single friend to whom I can unburden my soul. Truly all that appears to the eye is only a flower that blooms in a day.Three days before his death Daigu wrote a short poem praising himself as โunique in his generation.โ At the end of the poem he put the words โthree days before.โ Did he regret having boasted and wish to write a different poem? The following day he requested that his attendant bring him writing paper, and as the latter was about to hand it to his master, Daigu hit him. A day later Daigu died.
>>40610382I appreciate your advice. My recommendation would be to spend a good while praying to the Lord when you're feeling weak. From my own research, it is permissible to repeat prayers. I know that some Christians believe that you're not to repeat prayers because of Matthew 6:7:
"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions as the heathen do, for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." (Matthew 6:7, KJV)
But actually the meaning of that verse is to not meaninglessly and without sincerity repeat words. I have known of plenty of testimonies of people repeating prayers and being heard by God and receiving the help they needed.
There is repeating the Jesus Prayer for example, which is a staple of Orthodox Christianity:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAf9SFGQY9g
>>40610439Some further elaboration.
>>40610388Why do you dismiss their experiences and struggle without reason? It's very sad how much cynicism you have in you. I will say a prayer for you.
Here's some more examples I compiled.
>>40610439>But actually the meaning of that verse is to not meaninglessly and without sincerity repeat words. What are you talking about? It literally says "repetitions" and "much speaking". You can come up with any prayer you like, but repeating it over and over again in the same session like a mantra isn't going to help one's case before God.
>I have known of plenty of testimonies of people repeating prayers and being heard by God and receiving the help they needed. And I believe that, but that happens despite the repetitions, not because of them. God's not a legalist; he understands not everyone has a biblical understanding of prayer and may choose to honor sincere prayers regardless.
โBe not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.โ (Ecclesiastes 5:2)
>>40610513Here's the full story of one of the people in the screenshots I compiled. I checked out his instagram - he's a Christian who seems to be crusading against lust and sexual sin especially. God bless him.
>>40610591I'm sorry my friend, but you missed the explanation apparently. You can repeat prayers if they have meaning behind them. There is a minister on youtube called Whitfield Harrington who seems to be quite the spiritual warfare warrior, and he has a few videos where he shares his testimony of repeating certain prayers with successful results such as repeating the Lord's Prayer. You'll have to use your own discernment though. I know what is true based on my research. God bless you.
Here's a quote about prayer from St. Padre Pio:
Known for his deep life of prayer, Padre Pio reminded believers that persistent prayer is โthe key of the day and the lock of the night,โ a continual source of strength in the journey of faith.
>>40610637Personally I don't write down or memorize prayers, I just let the Holy Spirit lead.
โLikewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.โ (Romans 8:26)
In any event, I'll stick to what the book says on this. God bless brother.
>>40610513Because I've seen you peddling your grift before, last time it was AI generated NDE videos with botted comments.
No one honest needs to do what you do.
>>40610708What is the point of lying about that? All my posts can be found on the 4chan archive sites that are available.
I do remember in one of my threads someone falsely claiming that one of the youtube channels that I shared looked like it was just fake AI-generated people, which is silly.

>>40610736I've spent quite a few years on the internet reading different anecdotes, and his story in any case is the exact same story that countless people have shared in their struggle with pornography. Looking at his instagram page, I can tell that he's sincere about his love for Jesus, and wanting to help others.
Here's a video by an Orthodox Christian priest that may be helpful to those who are struggling with that problem:

"Let all that you do be done in love." (1 Corinthians 16:14, ESV)
>>40610280 (OP)There are no sins except not knowing that there are no sins.
Existence itself is sex. Physical, astral, transcendental, doesn't matter, all matter is fuck. How was any organism made? You don't belong to fuck though. Conscious organism itself is sex and fucking but source of consciousness is exempt from it. So it doesn't matter if you retain or not.
You are not a person or an organism, you convinced yourself this sex organism host's behavior is tied to your personality/personal qualities but it is not. Nothing matters. Angels are fucking. Everything is a playground for God. God doesn't care.
Lust for freedom is the only lust that leads to permanent truth. The freedom of having zero belief systems and structures, zero behaviors to adhere to, to have zero opinions on anything. This is literally God.
>>40611192That is spoken like a true satanist.
Are you aware that both Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey have been reported to have been in distress on their deathbeds, as they were crossing to the other side? You can practice lawlessness all you like while alive, but there will be very serious consequences after you die. There will more than likely be serious consequences while you're even still alive, sooner or later.
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." (Galatians 6:7, NIV)
>>40611258Satanist Anton LaVey deathbed final words

I'm seeing various people (namely his adherents) claim that these alleged final words of his are just "rumors", but I believe that it's entirely possible that those were his final utterances.
It's only the wicked that insist on disobeying God and creating a wicked false god that's made in their own wicked image.
>>40610280 (OP)>0280 [Reply]โถ>>40611192I want OP to remember that "If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off"
Is referring to THIEVERY, not MASTURBATION. Priests and Reiki masters even masturbate. Stop guilt-tripping yourself, this is venial/forgivable sin.
>>40611347Please do not try to spread falsehoods. Anyone who has a sound mind can surmise that masturbation counts as sexual sin. You're sinning against your own body.
And masturbation is tied with pornography addiction and fornication addiction, which both have been proven countless times to be destructive to the self.

Jesus set me free from lust
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLokKZkxIns
>>40611744Let me trust a book full of contradictions over the goddess I saw perform magic multiple times.
>>40611375Frankly, I disagree entirely. Sure, religious texts say spilling your seed is sinful; but the main reason for it is that it may spread disease (i.e. infections like yeast of the penis or rawness)
If the masturbation isn't to the point of infection or is done to avoid spreading disease, then it's still venial sin.
"Be fruitful and multiply" -- if masturbation is preventing you from multiplying... then, whelp.
I feel disdain when misinformed priests try to Agenda 21 their own religious brethren with false doctrine. Sexuality is only sinful when it spreads disease or causes covetousness.
Image is an embargoed hallucinogen and is irrelevant.
>>40611782Sorry, but I don't trust those claims.
I have had experiences with both the demonic and Jesus saving me from them. The fact that so many others have been saved by Jesus as well just solidifies to me how real He is.
Anyone who would reject Jesus and the Bible is just really a hater of wisdom, righteousness, love, and mercyโwhich are things that human beings very desperately need considering we live in a wicked world that is filled with the opposite of those attributes.

>>40611802You're just creating your own rules. It makes sense that God wouldn't want you to defile yourself that way. Sex is exclusively reserved for the marriage bed. You're actually just emphasizing that human beings should never try to be wise in their own eyes.
Also, "good luck" to anyone who can masturbate and somehow not have sexual fantasies at the same time. Or otherwise sooner or later start watching pornography, or being sexually immoral in some other way. Please do not fool yourself.

>>40611837I can believe that some jews weren't necessarily the most upstanding. Think of the Pharisees in the Bible.
But like I said, both from my own experience and the experiences of countless others, Jesus is very real and He will save you from living a life of sin and darkness.
Though of course those who willingly choose to remain in sin and darkness will reject Him. By making that choice you're also making the choice to stand condemned and take on all the repercussions that come with that. May God have mercy on you and draw you to Him some day.
>>40611873>But like I said, both from my own experience and the experiences of countless others, Jesus is very real and He will save you from living a life of sin and darkness.I have a personal and loving relationship with the goddess of lust and prostitutes. Our definitions of sin differ greatly.

You have to understand that the devil isn't a joke. He is extremely cunning and deceptive and he and his demons masquerade as the various false deities that are known around the world.
Anyone who researches the New World Order cult (the power elite) will find out that they worship satan and sacrifice children to him. A practice that goes back to ancient times. The fact that the elite are satanists, and they hate Jesus and His followers, truly solidifies what the truth is.
Lord Jesus, I'm sorry I have sinned. Shamefully I have sinned and go on sinning, in my lust for the beauty of women, but am trying hard to love my creator in their beauty, and not the creation. Still, knowing my heart Lord, I am sorry, LORD, for my thoughts that bring shame!
To my shame, I have lusted over more women than even King Solomon with 700 wives and 300 concubines - I saw this to my shame; I am evil in my lust for 10,000s of women over the years, and I am truly sorry, Lord. I must confess even at at my lowest point of sinful lust, looking at adult content even at work, and having these thoughts about colleagues - Lord forgive me.
Now, Jesus is helping set me free from my disease of sinful lust!! And I thank you for ALL your help, guidance, teaching, protection and love, Lord Jesus - THANK YOU! I hereby pray in the holy and perfect name of Jesus of Nazareth, that ALL girls that I have lusted over in the past, all girls that make pornographic content who are stuck in their web of sin, all girls on onlyfans and other sites like it, I pray they be free too, Lord - please give them eyes to see, and ears to hear and hearts with your precious, holy word and commandment written on them, please help them Lord Jesus. Amen!

>>40611952Please do not throw away your soul.
There are way too many testimonies of people going to hell such as during a near-death experience, or otherwise being given a warning about it in a dream or vision.
You have to honestly ask yourself why you would reject the truth. I think I can safely assume why: because you'd rather keep living in sin and disobedience, not wanting to practice lawfulness and become a righteous person as our Heavenly Father desires us to be. Please don't condemn yourself.

Many people who struggle with pornography addiction find hope and healing through faith in Jesus Christ. Individuals who have experienced deliverance from pornography often share stories of turning to God in prayer, confessing their struggles, and receiving strength and transformation through His grace. Some testimonies highlight the power of the Holy Spirit in overcoming addiction and finding freedom from its grip.
Here's a more detailed look at how faith in Jesus can be a source of deliverance from pornography:
1. Turning to Jesus:
-Confession and Repentance:
Acknowledging the struggle with pornography as a sin and turning to God for forgiveness and deliverance is a common first step.
-Seeking Forgiveness:
Many find that confessing their sins to God and seeking His forgiveness is a crucial part of the healing process.
-Prayer and Faith:
Believers often find strength and guidance through prayer, relying on God's power to overcome temptation.
>>406145622. Finding Strength and Transformation:
-The Holy Spirit:
Many believe that the Holy Spirit empowers them to resist temptation and develop a desire to live a life pleasing to God.
-Renewed Identity:
Through faith, individuals can find a new identity in Christ, recognizing themselves as forgiven and loved by God, rather than defined by their struggles.
-Overcoming Shame:
The message of God's grace and forgiveness can help individuals overcome feelings of shame and condemnation associated with pornography addiction.
>>40614590-Living a Transformed Life:
Many testimonies describe a gradual or even immediate shift in behavior and desires, leading to a life free from the bondage of pornography.
Finding Community:
Some find support and encouragement through fellowship with other believers who understand their struggles.
>>406146143. Important Considerations:
-Not an Instant Fix:
While some experience immediate deliverance, for others, the journey of overcoming pornography addiction can be a process that requires ongoing effort and reliance on God.
-Seeking Professional Help:
In addition to faith, many find it beneficial to seek professional guidance from therapists or counselors specializing in addiction recovery.
-Focus on God's Love:
Ultimately, the message of God's love and forgiveness is central to the journey of overcoming pornography addiction through faith.

Was it worth it to go back to sinning? No. Did I even get the evil satisfaction that my sinful nature desired? Not really.

God created the female form to be beautiful and created us to have pleasure from viewing the female form.
It is not said in the Bible that masturbation or viewing the female body is a sin. Now, immoral fantasies that fuel desire to hurt others is a problem, so yes the pornography industry is a problem. But spreading restrictions on your fellow man due to doctrines founded by man-made institutions wanting to control the distribution of sex and resources goes against Jesus' message.
>>40615549Instead of ignoring what has been shared in the thread, you should take a look through it instead of blindly commenting your own views.
It's made clear in the Word of God that looking at someone lustfully is a damnable offense. And it's also made clear that sex is meant only for the marriage bed. Please don't delude yourself because you wish to cling on to sin.

>>40615825>The Bible says looking at someone's wife lustfully is damnable offence, it does not say looking at a virgin is a damnable offence. I don't read no virgin there. The verse would apply to any married/engaged man irrespective of the woman. A single man, well, you could get legalist about it, yet I'm appealing to common sense here; do you think Jesus would be pleased to know you're "just watching porn"?
>>40615982He's trying to deceive you and make you doubt God's Word. A typical tactic from satan and his followers.
"did the bible originally only say that looking at a married woman lustfully is a sin?"
The short answer is: no โ in the Greek of Matthew 5:28 Jesus isnโt talking only about a married woman, but any woman.
1. The Greek simply says โฮณฯ
ฮฝฮฑแฟฮบฮฑโ (gunaika), โa woman,โ without specifying her marital status. Every major English version renders it โa womanโ (KJV, ESV, NIV, etc.), not โa married woman.โ
2. What makes it an extension of the adultery commandment is the principle behind it. Under Sinai the prohibition was against sexual relations with another manโs wife (Ex 20:14โ17). Jesus takes that one step deeperโif lustful desire in your heart equals adultery, it doesnโt matter whether sheโs married or not; the sin is in the lust itself.
3. So the original New Testament text doesnโt carve out an exception for single women. Jesusโ point is that the root of adultery is not merely the physical act but the internal attitude of lust toward anyone who is not your spouse.
โ
Beyond Matthew 5, Hebrew thought already valued โmaking a covenant with oneโs eyesโ (Job 31:1) to guard against lust. In other words, the Bible everywhere calls Christians to purity of heart, not just purity of oneโs actions.
>>40615844Bullshit.
God promising to preserve his word:
โThe words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.โ (Psalms 12:6-7)
โHeaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.โ (Matthew 24:35)
Which He considers to be more important than his own name:
โI will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.โ (Psalms 138:2)
Which you cannot even take in vain without getting in trouble:
โThou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.โ (Exodus 20:7)
And what kind of God inspires something just to let it be lost to human corruption and error? That's not the almighty God of the Bible.
>>40616015"What other biblical verses discuss lust and purity?"
Here are some key passages that address lust and purity of heart:
โข Matthew 5:28 โ โBut I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.โ
โข 1 John 2:16 โ โFor all that is in the worldโthe desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of lifeโis not from the Father but is from the world.โ
โข Galatians 5:16 โ โBut I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.โ
โข Colossians 3:5 โ โPut to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.โ
โข 1 Corinthians 6:18 โ โFlee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.โ
โข Proverbs 6:25 โ โDo not desire her beauty in your heart, and do not let her capture you with her eyelashes.โ
โข Philippians 4:8 โ โFinally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendableโฆthink about these things.โ
โข Job 31:1 โ โI made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a young woman.โ
โข Romans 13:13 โ โLet us walk properly as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and sensuality, not in quarreling and jealousy.โ
โข Proverbs 4:23 โ โAbove all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.โ
Beyond specific verses, the Bible repeatedly calls believers to โข โflee youthful passionsโ (2 Timothy 2:22) and โข โbe sober-mindedโ (1 Peter 5:8), underscoring that purity isnโt just avoidance of acts but vigilant stewardship of our thoughts and affections.
>>40615982No it did not. Remember, in that verse Jesus was quoting the 10 commandments written in the context of Israelite law. Per Israelite law, something was only considered adultery if a man had sex with a married women.
Also ฮณฯ
ฮฝฮฑแฟฮบฮฑ in greek usually means wife and since Jesus was quoting the law on adultery here, it's 100% clear that Matthew 5:28 is talking about looking at wives, not women. Plus, in the old testament, men are not condemned for having multiple wives, King David was declared as sinless when he had multiple wives. So saying that looking at women with sexual desire is a sin is clearly unbiblical and contradicts the Bible directly.
>>40616015>The Greek simply says โฮณฯ
ฮฝฮฑแฟฮบฮฑโ (gunaika), โa woman,โAs stated above, ฮณฯ
ฮฝฮฑแฟฮบฮฑ means "wife" in the context Jesus was talking about. ฮณฯ
ฮฝฮฑแฟฮบฮฑ can mean either wife or woman depending on the context. But in ancient greek times, 99% of women were married before they were 18 and most were betrothed far before then. In 99.999% of cases, ฮณฯ
ฮฝฮฑแฟฮบฮฑ meant "wife", especially in the context of the subject of adultery.
There is no Bible verses that supports Jesus taking the law one step further. He came to Earth to fight oppressive laws, not add to them. Did you forget what he said about the law and what he said to the Phariseese?
>So the original New Testament text doesnโt carve out an exception for single women. Jesusโ point is that the root of adultery is not merely the physical act but the internal attitude of lust toward anyone who is not your spouse.Wrong. There is no Bible verse that supports this.
>>40616015>(Job 31:1) Job said that, not God. And it still doesn't say looking at woman is a sin. If looking at woman is a sin, then how do you get a wife without committing a sin?
>>40616050None of these verses condemns appreciating the female form and masturbation. They talk about conduct in the context of the church. Obviously it will not do to have men overtly lusting at women, it would give the community a bad reputation.
>>40616037I didn't say the word was lost to human corruption and error. I said the english translation was lost to human corruption and error. Not the word.
>>40616055Nope, my post here further eradicates your lies

>>40616093Thanks for your concession. You had no rebuttal to any of my points and you know it. Hope you eventually learn to pursue truth instead of doctrines meant for enslaving, I still wish the best for you.
>>40616055>No it did not. Remember, in that verse Jesus was quoting the 10 commandments written in the context of Israelite law. Per Israelite law, something was only considered adultery if a man had sex with a married women. Are you serious? You could not commit adultery "in your heart" under the law proper; it had to hapoen physically. If that were so, no Hebrew would have ever lived past adolescence.
He's just righting the wrongs and giving them a better understanding of God's standards of righteousness, like he also does here:
โHe saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.โ (Matthew 19:8)
And here:
โWhosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.โ (1 John 3:15)
>>40616099You've only shared lies and your own twisting of the truth and you know it. You cannot be a Christian at all when you use the kind of language that satanists and others who reject God use: "doctrines/beliefs meant for enslaving". >>40616074>I didn't say the word was lost to human corruption and error. I said the english translation was lost to human corruption and error. Not the word. The where is the preserved word?
>>40616137You don't fully understand why Jesus was here. Who were the people Jesus criticized the most? The religious. Why did he criticize them? Because they placed burdens on their fellow men but don't lift a finger to help them. They write laws to restrict their behavior but hoard resources for themselves. Religion was Jesus' enemy. "Where two or three gather in my name, I will be with them." Jesus was not here to add to the law, he said instead that nothing would pass from the law until it was fulfilled.
Explain to me how looking at women with desire is a sin when the Bible clearly approves of men finding wives (even sometimes multiple wives). In Genesis, the Pharaoh who looked at Abraham's wife was said to not have sinned because he didn't know the woman was Abraham's wife.
>โHe saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.โ (Matthew 19:8)Do you know what "put away" meant at the context of the time? It is a different topic than committing adultery.
>โWhosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.โ (1 John 3:15)Because love is the truth. Jesus told us to love one another. Are oppressive laws loving?
>>40616140Don't project onto me your shortcomings. If what I said was truly lies, the wise and intelligent can hear my words and decide for themselves. Then they would formulate an argument to prove that what I said were lies.
You on the other hand, all you can do is claim things about me. You are not in any position to claim spiritual authority or declare what is or what isn't a sin. You don't even know the history of your book. Your ignorance astounds me.
>>40616152I can tell you what isn't the preserved word. The english translations. If you go straight to the greek, the message will be more pure than the english translations. Generally the closer to the time period, the more likely it is to be true. The further away the idea, the more likely it is to be corrupted. That's history for you. Get used to it.
>>40616180No one except fellow wicked people who love falsehoods and sin are going to agree with you.

Who do you think you worship?

"What does the Bible say about love in relation to purity?"
The Bible presents love and purity as inseparableโtrue love both springs from and produces holiness in heart, mind, and body.
1. Purity safeguards loveโs sanctity. Scripture calls believers to โabstain from sexual immoralityโ so that our love for one another remains honorable and undefiled. โFor this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immoralityโฆthat each of you know how to control his own body in holiness and honorโ (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). Likewise, โmarriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterersโ (Hebrews 13:4).
2. Christโs love purifies the Church. Paul compares Jesusโ self-giving love to a cleansing bath: โHusbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify herโฆto present her to himself holy and blameless, without spot or wrinkleโ (Ephesians 5:25-27). His love isnโt merely affectionateโit renews and sets us apart.
3. Loveโs defining virtues are pure. In the classic โLove Chapter,โ Paul writes, โLove is patient and kindโฆit does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all thingsโ (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). Every trait listedโtruth, self-sacrifice, enduranceโis antithetical to impurity and selfish passion.
>>40616366I'm happy to keep it on the front page so people can see me debunking your crap. People like you make all the Christians look like retards. Thanks for trashing our reputation, I still wish you the best though.
>>406164154. A pure heart sees God. Jesus pronounces, โBlessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see Godโ (Matthew 5:8). Purity isnโt only about avoiding sin; itโs about cultivating an inner life so transparent that Godโs presence becomes unmistakable in our relationships and devotion.
5. Weโre called to keep ourselves pure. In pastoral instruction, Timothy hears: โDo not be hasty in the laying on of hands, and do not share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pureโ (1 Timothy 5:22). Purity here is a discipline of loveโnot just for God, but for those we serve and lead.
Across Scripture, love inspires and depends on purity: pure motives, pure bodies, pure worship. As you meditate on these themes you might next explore:
โข Song of Solomonโs celebration of beauty within the bounds of covenantal love
โข Proverbs 5โ7 on wisdomโs path of sexual integrity
โข How the Spirit empowers us to โset our minds on things aboveโ (Colossians 3:2) and sustain a love that is both ardent and undefiled.

Do not let the devil and his minions deceive you, dear friends.
There are severe spiritual consequences for committing the sin of lust, and also taking illicit substances (this includes marijuanaโwhich is known to open you up to demons), and also adhering to false religions such as the New Age.
Jade grew up in a Christian home but never embraced Jesus personally. She went to the dark side bound by many demonic spirits and addictions. One night she had a radical encounter that would change her life forever.

>>40616427>People like you make all the Christians look like retards. You're right but the text is already incorrect. If you have to pick and choose which parts you like, maybe you never needed it.
Daily reminder that the word "lust" is a modern invention and churches condemn it because they used to control the distribution of sex and wish to seize control and dictate who marries whom. It's not wrong to have sexual desire, if it were, why would we be created with sexual organs? Release your fears and join love and light, Jesus did not condemn, he dined with prostitutes and tax collectors, he loves you all unconditionally and you do not need to fear him, just accept him into your heart. God bless you all.
>>40616513The original text is not incorrect, just misinterpreted, incomplete, and co-opted to hell and back because the Catholic church burned all opposing doctrine and labelled the works of other enlightened men as "satan worship" despite the Catholic church literally torturing people to death for disagreeing with them and engaging in blood sacrificial rituals.
>>40616513You're merely making yourself believe that because you wish to practice lawlessness. The Word of God warns us what becomes of such people. They live to fully commit sin all the time, constantly practicing evil, gratifying the impure desires of their flesh. When you reject God and His commandments/standard, He gives you up to your own wicked desires.
That's why we're seeing so much suffering, misery and dysfunction in the West these days. There is a mental illness epidemic, a lonely male epidemic, a masturbation and pornography addiction epidemic, a huge increase in crime and violence compared to prior decades, and the list goes on and on.
All of these ills are enabled and promoted by the establishment, which is ran by satanists who rape, torture and murder children for earthly gains and "power".
>>40616556yeah yeah yeah I got it. Everyone who disagrees with you is a "Satanist", a "Sinner", a "lawless fool", "evil", "devil worshiper", "heretic", "Liar", blah blah blah.

>>40616524>>40616546You can lie all you want, but anyone who is sick and tired of immorality, evil, and falsehoods will seek out God and His wisdom. The Word of God also emphasizes to not pursue earthly riches, to not have friendship with this wicked world, and to not lust after things or people.

You're trying to trick people into disregarding the main translations of the Bible, by falsely claiming that for some reason you shouldn't take its teachings literally, and that somehow they're "out of context".

>>40616616I'm not going to go through every single one of those and explain them lol, that's a 1000 page book and someone else already wrote that book.
In the hebrew and greek there are many idioms and metaphors that don't translate well to the English text. Also keep in mind that the Bible is a compilation of authors who all have different perspectives. Three people have 3 different views of the same mountain, and say different things, doesn't mean that they are all wrong. Just that they have different perspectives which all add up to a greater whole.

I hope you're not one of those people who has hatred for jewish people. It doesn't mean there can't be some jews who sadly engage in evilโand the evil deeds of evildoers should be exposedโbut the Word of God strongly condemns hatred for others.
>>40616655>I don't particularly care if you believe or not, if you don't want to believe what the Bible says, it's not like me explaining one contradiction will convince you anyway.Of course not, I'm incorruptible. I'm going the other way with it because you don't seem fully retarded. Like when there's a contradiction in this massive maze of text, which version do you believe and why? Rhetorical question.
Most people alive today who independently adopted Christianity did so by default. Felt like being spiritual, and that was the building at the end of the block.

Here's another great testimony:
In this video, this young man realized how empty and unsatisfying atheism and new age beliefs are, and how the acting/film world he was involved with was very sexually immoral and suspiciously hateful towards Jesus, and he eventually got inspired to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Praise God.

>>40616683Anon I am proud of being retarded, in fact I incarnated on this Earth to be retarded, the experience of being retarded is very educational.
When there is a contradiction, I look at who is saying what, why, and the context of the beliefs when the book was written. Take for example, 2 Samuel 24:1 and 1 Chronicles 21:1. On the surface, it is a contradiction because one verse says Satan told King David to take a census and the other verse says the LORD told King David to take a census.
But if you look at the actual Hebrew, the word translated to "Satan" actually means "adversity" and the word translated to "LORD" can be vague depending on the context. Combine that with what Job says and it can be said that the "adversity" is part of God's council and was used to test King David.
Things like that. Most of the "contradictions" area really because some words were translated wrong or misunderstood. You gotta read the whole book and also know the beliefs of the jews who wrote it to fully understand why such "contradictions" appeared after the latest english translations...because at the time when they were compiled, the people who compiled them didn't think they contradicted
>>40616721Still can't denounce the Talmud, its because you are a Satanic shill
>>40616729You're acting like an even less bright version of the other guy in this thread, who is clearly trying to get people to reject the Bible and instead believe in a false christ who allows sexual sins. Such people are only harming themselves.
Another relevant testimony regarding engaging in evil and falsehoods:
In this video, this former luciferian (satanist) gives his testimony of how he used to worship and serve the devil which led to all kinds of evil and suffering, and how eventually he was saved by Lord Jesus Christ. Also, you have to understand that the truth about New Age spirituality is that it's really yet another deception / false belief system created by the enemy of mankind, the devil, who is the author of all false religions.
Ex-Luciferian warns about the dangers of New Age spirituality (which is promoted by the establishment)

I denounce all the demonic strongholds from my past and my family lineage. Thank you Jesus for forgiving me and always being near."
"I was in occultism end even satanism from my teenage years to 33. My life was a mess, no good relationships, chaos, anxiety, psychic problems etc. From 33 with Jesus and healthy, looking for a job now."
"I spent years in the new age unknowingly serving satan. When you leave it's crazy... I had similar experiences to Zachary.. Torment, night terrors, seeing demonic entities, sleep paralysis. Every time I called for Jesus it stopped!! I'm so grateful how He saved me and whilst my children are still young so I csn break generational curses etc."

>>40616809The NWO is paying me to expose the NWO?
One of the more disturbing aspects of the testimony that I shared here
>>40612110 is how this former satanist talks about how there are essentially satanic evildoers who engage in all sorts of wickedness and sexual immorality, yet they go to church on sunday to be "sanctified", and presumably profess themselves to be "Christians".
It reminds me of the guy who has been posting in this thread who willfully chooses to deceive himself into believing that the Bible should essentially be rejected, and who believes in a false christ that allows sexual sin. It's incredibly disturbing how badly people can deceive themselves.
The Word of God actually also tells us that those who insist on rejecting God and believing falsehoods, that they will be sent a strong delusion as punishment.
"In 2 Thessalonians 2:11, the Bible states that God will send a strong delusion upon those who reject the truth and love wickedness. This delusion will lead them to believe a lie, ultimately resulting in their condemnation. This passage describes a consequence for those who actively choose to disbelieve the truth and embrace falsehood."
>>40616966no the nwo is paying you spread fake crap, attack the truth, misrepresent Jesus' teachings, make the Christians look retarded and poison the well, we aren't stupid we've seen your type since forever.
>>40616966Here's a more detailed explanation:
-The Context:
The passage in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 is part of a discussion about the end times, specifically the arrival of the "man of lawlessness" (often interpreted as the Antichrist) and the deception he will bring.
-Rejection of Truth:
The verse highlights that God sends the delusion to those who have already rejected the truth of the gospel and chosen to believe in wickedness.
-Strong Delusion:
The "strong delusion" is a powerful deception that will lead people to believe a lie, even though the truth is available.
-Condemnation:
This deception is not arbitrary; it's a consequence for those who have rejected God's truth and chosen to follow a path of unrighteousness.
-God's Sovereignty:
While it might seem paradoxical that God would send a delusion, the passage emphasizes that it's a consequence of humanity's choices and their rejection of God's truth.
-Connection to Pharaoh:
Some interpret this in light of Pharaoh's hardened heart in Exodus, where God allowed Pharaoh's choices to lead him to destruction.
In essence, 2 Thessalonians 2:11 describes a situation where God, in his judgment, allows those who have already rejected Him to be further deceived by a powerful lie. This deception is a consequence of their own choices and not a random act of God.
>>40616984Who of sound mind could believe that about me?
I'm the one pointing people in the right direction by leading them to the Bible and Jesus' teachings, on top of sharing these valuable testimonies and videos about overcoming harmful addictions.
Meanwhile, that other guy in the thread is literally telling people to reject the actual Bible and believe in a fake christ who merely teaches "love everyone"โwhich even that can be interpreted in the wrong ways by wicked men. For example, people who are pedophiles will deceive themselves into believing that they're simply "loving" children when they're raping them.
"A wicked messenger falls into trouble,
but a trustworthy courier brings healing.
Poverty and disgrace come to those
who ignore discipline,
but the one who accepts correction will be honored."
(Proverbs 13:17-18, HCSB)
Impurity is plastered everywhere today: movies, tv, billboards, music, entertainment, books, and magazines.
We must fight back.
"I, wisdom, live with prudence,
and I attain knowledge and discretion.
The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.
Pride and arrogance and the way of evil
and perverted speech I hate.
I have good advice and sound wisdom;
I have insight, I have strength."
(Proverbs 8:12-14, NRSVA)
Shield of Faith, do you have autism?
You basically claim to know what God say, as if you are God. If anyone else disagrees with your interpretation of a book that has been lost in translation for over 2000 years, then they are tricked by the devil. Do you know Aramaic? Do you know ancient Greek? do you know Hebrew? Did you ever consider that you could be tricked by the devil too?
Did it occur to you that perhaps you can make people turn away from God? Your shitty jew tube vids and the god awful autistic "know it all" attitude has the opposite effect of "spreading the gospel".

>>40617481Who shared a heartfelt testimony in one of my threads? It is only they themselves who suffer from their rebellion.
In the case of someone such as that fellow who has been posting in this thread spreading falsehoods, willfully deceiving himself into believing a false christ who allows sexual sin, it's abundantly clear that he's created a god in his own image. Even going as far as rejecting the Bible and essentially creating his own religion. The Word of God strongly condemns hatred of others, and it makes sense why. Hatred is poisonous and turns you into a terrible person.
Certainly when you're a follower of the Lord, you should know better than to engage in that sin. It's going to open the door to other sins as well.
And you're not actually exactly right about what you're claiming, by the way - it's the devil that is behind the distribution of such evils. He merely uses various human servants to do his bidding.

"I see a lot of guys on here struggling to get free from porn and fighting just to be free from their sin even for just a few days. I'd like to share my story to help change your thinking about all of this.
I'm a guy who used to struggle with pornography and masturbation as a believer for many years starting at the age of 13 up until I was about 20 years old.
After trying many times to stop by setting boundaries, removing triggers, and "trying to be holy" I still failed over and over again... until one day God began to change my thinking about how I saw myself and how He saw me. "

>>40616180>Who were the people Jesus criticized the most? The religious. Why did he criticize them? Because they placed burdens on their fellow men but don't lift a finger to help them. They write laws to restrict their behavior but hoard resources for themselves. Religion was Jesus' enemy. "Where two or three gather in my name, I will be with them." Jesus was not here to add to the law, he said instead that nothing would pass from the law until it was fulfilled.I think it's clear from the verses I quoted the point was that keeping the law outwardly while having an evil heart, was not what God intended.
The law was a lower standard (sanctioning actions only) with a higher penalty, even unto death.
Grace is a higher standard (sanctioning both actions and thoughts) with a lower penalty, literally a prayer away from forgiveness.
>Explain to me how looking at women with desire is a sin when the Bible clearly approves of men finding wives (even sometimes multiple wives). If you are married or engaged, you don't get to do that anymore, according to Jesus himself.
Things were changing and Jesus was showing them a better way. E.g. Under the law as it stood, some sins could not be forgiven, but now they could:
โVerily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:โ (Mark 3:28)
>In Genesis, the Pharaoh who looked at Abraham's wife was said to not have sinned because he didn't know the woman was Abraham's wife.Correct. Neither Pharaoh nor Araham were under the law, and Jesus had not come to set the record straight on the coomer mind.

It is a different topic than committing adultery.Nothing to do with the sin being comitted but with the fact that God had purpused a better way for them, but they hardened their hearts and Moses had to work around it. In short, it was not God's ideal plan and now is Jesus correcting that.

>>40616199>I can tell you what isn't the preserved word. The english translations. If you go straight to the greek, the message will be more pure than the english translations. So you don't have it? I do.
And why would God preserve His word in a language almost nobody speaks? He chose Hebrew when he dealt exclusively with the jew. Then greek in NT times because that was the common language of the world, then it was latin and eventually it would be english through the KJV, when the greatest evangelization work happened.
And on top of this, there's nothing preventing a translation from being every bit as pure, if so be that God oversees the process, which he clearly did for the KJV. The translators would even come up with words that didn't exist just to convey very nuance meanings which would have otherwise been lost.
>Generally the closer to the time period, the more likely it is to be true. The further away the idea, the more likely it is to be corrupted.I'm guessing you are not the same anon I was talking with because you're now implying the word was indeed corrupted, which's the most retarded, unbiblical thing ever.

>>40619403I applaud you for defending the Bible, but it's not hard to tell that that person merely has ill intentions.
As I've mentioned before in the thread, he clearly wishes to reject the Bible and the real Jesus in favor of a god that he's created for himself - one who allows him to sin in whichever ways he wants.
I certainly know from my own experiences that not being truly saved by the Lord and habitually sinning leads to a great deal of sorrow. As the Word of God warns us: you reap what you sow.

The subsequent week my addiction subsided into almost nothingness. I had a small set back a couple of months ago but since then I have felt amazing and I thank God for helping though a bad part of my life."
"I have considered myself Christian for a while but have only recently begun to take it seriously, and I am also am almost a year sober from cocaine and alcohol, because in-between the gap in my faith, a voice asked me to not give up on myself, and I got myself into rehab. itโs been a struggle even after the fact, but Jesus Christ keeps me safe and I owe him everything for guiding me even when I wasnโt sure where I stood. Iโm happy to now say I am a follower of Jesus Christ, my lord and savior"
"IMBeggar, Ive been agnostic for quite a while but I feel your channel keeps pushing me towards faith. Loved your videos on God VS Science and Why doesnt God show himself! >>40619449I have a hypothetical question to you; if someone follow Buddhist doctrine devoutly, and by consequence of practicing meditation and follow the religious rules(no lie, no kill, no sexual misconduct, etc.), and then by consequence, unintentionally also follow most of the religious tenets of Christianity, do you think God will let this person into heaven? Also can you elaborate some on the difference between the negative consequences of sinning and the idea of negative karma from bad actions?
>>40619449>No, she is the Mother of Jesus. There have been far too many testimonies of people experiencing miracles by asking Mary to pray for them. My own mom actually experienced a certain miracle herself when she was in sorrow and prayed to her - she wasn't even a Christian at the time. It's because of these reasons that I know that praying to Mary is justifiable.โFor there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.โ (1 Timothy 2:5-6)
โCease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?โ (Isaiah 2:22)
>>40619473Your Heavenly Father wishes for you to believe in Him, love Him, worship Him, and study His Word.
"Buddah" is not your Father.
>>40616625Jesus died for you as payment for your sins. Rejecting Him is rejecting the only pardon you've received from God the Father.
>>40619497Ok, but if someone believes in God and Jesus, but still act bad (so many historical examples, crusades and so on), while a Buddhist lives a life that is devoid of sin, is this person not following the tenets of christianity to a greater degree? What is the faith worth if people do not follow the rules is my point. I guess one can make the argument that people who act in bad faith, lacks proper faith in Jesus and God..
By the way, "Buddha" is a Sanskrit word that means someone that has enlightened, the historical person often referred to as Buddha does not claim to be your father, nor does followers. You could arguably call Jesus (before his death and rebirth) a Buddha, due to his deep connection to God and spiritual strength?
>>40619528Not my conversation, but I think God has something to say about this:
โFor there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.โ (Romans 2:11-16)
If we die rejecting the real Jesus Christ of the bible, there's no hope. But if we never heard about Him to begin with, the judgment will be more lenient.
>>40619494I absolutely understand and respect the Protestant view on it. You're entitled to having that view. But as I stated, I've seen too much evidence of praying to Mary being justifiable.
To clarify where I stand exactly: I consider myself to be non-denominational, and I support ecumenism - Christian unity.

Jesus isn't merely an "enlightened teacher". He is your Heavenly Father, He died for you as payment for your sins, and you need to believe in Him and accept Him as your Lord and Savior to receive the Holy Spirit and (depending on your decisions) eventually gain entry into the Kingdom of Heaven after your corporeal form perishes.

Dear friends, please do not taint yourself by thinking, feeling or watching impure things.
โChastity, or cleanness of heart, holds a glorious and distinguished place among the virtues, because she, alone, enables man to see God; hence Truth itself said, โBlessed are the clean of heart, for they shall see God.โโ - Saint Augustine

"Let your modesty be a sufficient incitement, yea, an exhortation to everyone to be at peace on their merely looking at you." - Saint Ignatius of Loyola
Pray to Lord Jesus for help, beloveds. Make a sincere effort to turn away from sin, and turn to your Savior instead.
"Holy Purity is granted by God when it is asked for with humility." - St. Josemaria Escriva
The satanic rulers of this world who control the government, media and education don't want the masses to learn from the Word of God or these respected Christian voices.
"Purity prepares the soul for love, and love confirms the soul in purity." - John Henry Cardinal Newman
>>40610280 (OP)>Only Jesus can help set you free fromquite the opposite. You are not dependent on other beings, they wont do the work for you magically. It's by following the right examples and identifying WHY and HOW habits enslave and degrade you and how spiritual spirits exploit your flaws to snare your mental self, shape your inner life and mindworld that is important. Blindly following your interpretation of Christ's adventure and the spirit of his word can lead to forms of enslavement just as well as not.
The act itself of watching pornography for example would not be a sin for someone who's spirit does not resonate with it. It wont arouse them nor beckon them to spend further time or waste energy with it. It would be like staring at a brick wall. But if you watch a stimuli and your spirit starts manifesting or seeking indulgences and you cannot control your spirit zooming off, then it is a sin because it has actual negative effects. And exposing your spirit, sometimes kne who isnt well versed in earthly matters or otherwise needs to be protected from influences which it is not guarded against, is the sin of neglect.
Beings otherworldly are not going to do work for you. You have to put in the work yourself and seek the people who elevate and stir you to be better.

>>40619800>The satanic rulers of this world who control the government, media and educationCompare and contrast:
1 Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against blood and flesh but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
1 Corinthians 2:7-8
"But we speak Godโs wisdom, a hidden mystery, which God decreed before the ages for our glory and which none of the rulers of this age understood, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
"And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing clearly the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
Romans 13:1-5
"Let every person be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment For rulers are not a terror to good conduct but to bad. Do you wish to have no fear of the authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive its approval, for it is Godโs agent for your good. But if you do what is wrong, you should be afraid, for the authority does not bear the sword in vain! It is the agent of God to execute wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be subject, not only because of wrath but also because of conscience."
>>40619988 (cont)
Are the rulers and authorities agents for our good handpicked by the one true God, those who can be trusted carry out his just will against evildoers, so that resisting them is a sin?
Or are the rulers and authorities, who are so unjust as to unknowingly crucify the Lord of glory, acting in the service of the "god of this world" to blind the minds of unbelievers, so that we *must* resist them to secure our salvation?
You may say that it's important to distinguish between earthly authorities (who are not to be resisted) and heavenly authorities (who must be resisted), but Romans is clear that "*there is no authority* except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment."
>>40619992I think it makes sense that it's essentially saying that God is the only true authority, and in an ideal world, every government would submit to God's will. There have been rulers before who obeyed God and carried out His will. But because of what Adam and Eve did in the Garden, the devil has significant power over this world. Although not to say that he has the highest authority somehow, obviously.
I hope you're not trying to lead this into gnostic beliefs ("Yahweh is the enemy"). It's a dead giveaway that gnosticism is a false religion created by the devil considering it tries to make you reject the one true God and also deny Jesus' divinity, while claiming that sinful human beings are somehow "divine" and that they need to acquire "knowledge" in order to ascend. That's all just satanic occultism.
>>40620081>I hope you're not trying to lead this into gnostic beliefsWhat I suspect is that Paul's letters and the earliest form of the gospel were much more plainly Gnostic in character, and what we have now is considerably redacted and interpolated.
See also all the times Paul implies that a a statement purportedly directly from Yahweh is both a lie and also maybe not actually from God, so that either Yahweh is a liar, the angels who by whom or through whom the law was given were liars, or Moses was a liar.
Leviticus 18:5
You shall keep my statutes and my ordinances; by doing so one shall live: I am the LORD.
Galatians 3:19-21
Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring would come to whom the promise had been made, and it was ordained through angels by a mediator. Now a mediator involves more than one party, but God is one. Is the law then opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For *if a law had been given that could make alive*, then righteousness would indeed come through the law.
(Some translations, like the BRG for one I just found, say ordained *by* angels rather than *through* angels)
Romans 7:10
and I died, and *the very commandment that promised life proved to be death to me.*
Romans 10:5-8
Moses writes concerning the righteousness that comes from the law, that โthe person who does these things will live by them." But the righteousness that comes from faith says, โDo not say in your heart, โWho will ascend into heaven?โโ (that is, to bring Christ down) โor โWho will descend into the abyss?โโ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? โThe word is near you, in your mouth and in your heartโ (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim),
>>40620202But by Romans 3:4, Paul would supposedly not call God a liar. "Although every human is a liar, let God be proved true."
>>40610339>Here's a screenshot I once took of a google images result after searching for "porn ruined my life". You can tell that this is a pervasive problemYou could easily find people saying relationships or food ruined their life too. Life doesn't work like it should in general which is why you can drop things like porn and work hard for a more "healthy" life but still be denied it or suffer badly.
>>40620220And Paul also associates "observing special days" with being enslaved to elemental spirits. But you know who else commands observing special days? Yahweh.
Galatians 4:8-11
"Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to beings that by nature are not gods. Now, however, that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits? How can you want to be enslaved to them again? You are observing special days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid that my work for you may have been wasted."
how do you lot get around pride
>>40619963>No,No to what? We agree that they are not going to do the work for you right? I dont mean to bicker by the by, just interest. Asking for help isnt bad and invoking a good force is fine, but you must also acknowledge that he who overcomes along -is- walking the example with more perfection. Plagiarism is a sin as much. Reliance on spiritual forces is not healthy and not a moral or utilitarian good either. Neither is it a show of good Faith. The force that frees you sets you free from dependence, it shows you the way to make your way, rather than instruct you what the way is.
Just think about the context of the forces that Christ had to deal with. How many people have the capacity, wit and resolve to deal with supernatural corrupting or exploitative forces? How many of those forces seek to plant in people the dependence that makes them docile and easy followers? If you want to do evil, you appear as the force that people identify as good and then subtle shape it so it leads people down to dependence rather than personal power, independence, critical thought and towards a place in life where you can act with the capacity to change things.
People have "relied on deliverance" for thousands of years and we still collectively make similar errors.
Even the experience you share is certainly within the reality of being real. But the nature of the unseen world is that feelings and vibes can either be internal or beamed from other beings. If you call onto a being and they "hold" this vibe of disgust and one identifies with it, it's a form of handholding. The question is rather, why was the subject not already cultivating this disgust on their own? The issue is that they cannot even imagine some of there dynamics and that shapes your entire spiritual path. Christ is a real force, but so are many others and some of them are hard to distinguish. The ability of discernment is paramount.
>>40620337>get around prideis it merited and does it do harm? stop doing harm.
>>40620324And soon after Pauls says to the Galatians: "Tell me, you who desire to be subject to the law, will you not listen to the law?" (Galatians 4:21) so it seems clear that the special days he's referring to are indeed those given by Yahweh, not by pagan gods. Which, going backward, would seem to mean that he's implying that Yahweh, at least the Yahweh that commanded observing special days, isn't even a god, but an elemental spirit.
>>40619449So what?
Demons and fallen angels can grant miracles too.
>>40620354So I think there was a stage in Christianity very near to the beginning, possibly at the beginning, where it was the religion of a God beyond the Jewish god Yahweh and all the pagan gods, though it perhaps influenced the writings of all to some extent. But in the end the Judaizers won out, and Christianity was restrained back into Yahweh worship.
Numbers 21:5-6
"The people spoke against God and against Moses, 'Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we detest this miserable food.' Then the LORD sent poisonous serpents among the people, and they bit the people, so that many Israelites died."
Matthew 7:9-11
"Is there anyone among you who, if your child asked for bread, would give a stone? Or if the child asked for a fish, would give a snake? If you, then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!"
Can Jesus' Father and Yahweh really be the same?
>>40619403>So you don't have it? I do.How do you know that you do?
>And why would God preserve His word in a language almost nobody speaks? He chose Hebrew when he dealt exclusively with the jew. Then greek in NT times because that was the common language of the world, then it was latin and eventually it would be english through the KJV, when the greatest evangelization work happened. So are you arguing that the English translation is 100% perfect? That's absurd. Even the people who translated the Bible from Greek knew that they didn't translate in perfectly, the first KJV had tonnes of translation notes in the margin.
>And on top of this, there's nothing preventing a translation from being every bit as pure, if so be that God oversees the process, which he clearly did for the KJV. The translators would even come up with words that didn't exist just to convey very nuance meanings which would have otherwise been lost. The group of KJV editors under King James' employment themselves said their translation wasn't perfect. Have you seen the original manuscript? It is filled with margin notes.
There is nothing stopping a translation from being as pure, but in reality there will always be loss of purity over time. It's a game of probability. Like aging.
Yes, lots of nuance was lost. This is indisputable. You know because there are hundreds of Christian sects arguing about what the Bible means and the beliefs of Christians have varied wildly across the ages.
>I'm guessing you are not the same anon I was talking with because you're now implying the word was indeed corrupted, which's the most retarded, unbiblical thing ever. The KJV, ESV, and all other mainstream english translations are corrupted to hell and back. No comment on the original text.
>Bullshit. Are you saying that because you are genuinely seeking the truth or because you need something to be true?

Thanks man for this post. Have a good day and come to Jesus, all. He really is our only hope.
>>40620799Good luck debating these people. It's unimaginable for them that the compilation process into the canonical bible we have today has been a subject of human bias for almost 2000 years. Just try read old classical literature, it's ideas are more or less incomprehensible now, and you have to check reference literature back and forth. People do not have the cultural foundation to properly understand the connotations.
It is however convenient to just don't question it so you can feel righteous and better than others.
>>40620202>What I suspect I'm not really following what you're saying, nor do I care to. I don't recommend you try to use your own thinking to try to pick apart the Bible since our minds can be treacherous. If you have sincere questions, just try doing research online, seeing what different sources can comment. And you have to understand that there are these type of people who try to approach God and the Bible in an overly cerebral way, even though what is most important is opening your heart to Him and accepting that you are what His Word says you are. All of these testimonies of people being lost in sin, sorrow, and even demonic oppression and being saved by Jesus speak for themselves. It's my testimony as well.
>>40620239No, pornography is particularly very harmful evidently. And yes, life won't work out and you'll be lost and miserable until you give yourself to Jesus.
>>40620348Christ is the only true power. I hope you'll realize that some day soon. God bless you.
>>40620415We're talking especially cases of Christians praying to Mary. You can look into it for yourself. And the miracle that my mom experienced could have only come from God considering it had to do with the birth of a child.
>>40620799It's abundantly clear that God approves of the Bible, otherwise He would have communicated to His followers in various ways that it needed correcting a long time ago.
Sin is exactly what the Word of God tells us it is, and we see it both around the world, and also in these countless testimonies of people suffering badly by giving themselves up to sin. And then only being saved and doing better by giving themselves to Jesus and making the free will choice to not sin any longer.
I noticed earlier that one of the testimony channels I shared had a new testimony uploaded relevant to this topic of this thread:

>>40620958Oh I should have looked at the link you shared. Yeah, I noticed that upload too. God bless you, sir.

Testimonies such as this are also a reminder that people can come into direction communication with God, and if He had anything critical to share about the Bible, sin, or Jesus, He would obviously communicate it to people. Praise God for His mercies.
>>40623017Based.
Lust is definitely the most prevalent sin in my own life. I have struggled with it nearly all my life. Though, I know that the only reprieve is in asking Christ everyday to take that sin away from me, to help me to avert my eyes, and to flee when temptation is too much. I am effectively powerless against it, because I have tried to stop, but I cannot. I can only do so through Him.
>>40623183I can definitely sympathize with you. Please keep praying to Lord Jesus and spend more time consuming Christian content - whether worship music, art, youtube videos, etc. We need to put God first in our lives if we're to overcome sin.
It's very sad to think that there will be these type of people who will reject the Bible and Jesus just because they're too attached to their sins. They will come up with all kinds of excuses and delude themselves, all for the purpose of being able to continue to habitually sin and worship evil / the devil.
Certainly when you look into hell testimonies
>>40611975 you'll realize that you absolutely do not want to throw away your life and your eternal soul for sin.
"For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come with His angels in the glory of His Father, and then He will repay each person according to what he has done." (Matthew 16:25-27, ESV)
>>40623017>I don't recommend you try to use your own thinkingSo this is the state of religious people these days. I guess it was just about always their state, but still it's about as sad as it gets.
>>40623063Lol, you do know that the leaders of the Catholic church were Satan worshipers right? There were many Christian groups like the Bohomirs, the Manicheans and Cathars who popped up in history independently coming to the same divine conclusions, and the Catholic church tortured them all to death. Your doctrines only became dominant through Roman state power who cared not for the sovereignty of souls, but rather enslavement of souls. Your doctrines are literally built on thrones of blood, gore, rape, torture and slavery.
>Sin is exactly what the Word of GodAs I established above, you don't have any understanding of what the Bible actually says.
>>40623267You're missing the point and I think you know it. There is abundant evidence that Jesus is the truth and His Word is true. I've been sharing some of that evidence in this thread.
When you look around the world, you can see that man's ways are very often wicked and foolish. God tells us in His Word not to lean on our own understanding but to trust in Him instead and He will make our path straight. Followers of Jesus have found this out to be true

Dear friends, please do not let yourself be dragged down by bad news and the evil people in this world. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
โWe need to be especially alert to the evil subtlety of Satan. His one desire is to keep people from having a mind and heart disposed to their Lord and GodโฆHe wants to extinguish the light of the human heart, and so he moves in by means of worldly busyness and worry.โ - St. Francis of Assisi
This is a really great testimony I found on reddit:
"Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to save me 1.5 weeks ago. This is the first time I've spoken about it to anyone."
(Part 1):
Does anyone relate to my story? A week and a half ago I randomly began watching a YT channel. The creator is a hard core Christian. In the past this kind of content would not have resonated with me. I very much believed in God but did not have a personal relationship with Him through Christ. I tried to read the Bible in the past but found it too cryptic and hard to understand. Still, the older I've gotten the more convinced I became that the Bible is full of truth and there is a spiritual war happening.
(Part 2):
This YT channel I now believe was sent to me at precisely the right time because the videos spoke right to me and made perfect sense. They opened the door to the Holy Spirit and through the Holy Spirit I felt the presence of Jesus and that He was inviting me to follow Him and have a personal relationship with Him. I made the choice right then and there to surrender my will to His and to walk with Him forever. In doing so I felt a burden lift from my shoulders, the burden of being in charge of my own life and following my own desires.
(Part 3):
I have been losing interest in worldly TV shows and movies and podcasts and content that isn't from Jesus. I am finding that I just don't resonate with that kind of content now and in fact with my spiritual eyes I can see how Satan uses these channels to expose people to increasingly sinful dark messages and to normalize sinful acts. In doing so he pulls unsuspecting people into darkness. With the gift of discernment I have been blessed with in this life, I see the spiritual emptiness in people and how they look outside themselves to fill this void. I see their sadness and their pain. I see the corrupted spirits of some who are deeply lost in carnal things. I am seeing this spiritual vacancy and worldly corruption most often in younger people. Through the internet they have had sin normalized from a young age. Sensing how lost they are is very sad.
christcuck schizo thread.
here's the true response to this subject.
(Part 4):
I have prayed and prayed with a fervor that is new to me. I am increasingly able to look at my past and see what a sinner I was and what darkness I have been wandering in. For example, most of my adult life was heavily influenced by the New Age. I was a member of a New Age yoga cult for 9 years until the founder was revealed to be a sexual predator who used the group's donations to fund a lavish lifestyle, a total sociopath. I thus unknowingly worked for a man who worked for Satan and thus I was under Satan's control. I was influenced by many New Age voices such as Louise Hay and the authors she published. I had an addictive relationship with yoga. For many years I attended classes 6 days a week and did so bc if I didn't my energy would feel "dirty" and sluggish and I would get the worst brain fog. In my younger years I experimented with drugs but only recreationally.
(Part 5):
I only understand now what is meant by the "New Age." Watching videos on YT about people who left to follow Christ, most seemed to be about things like tarot cards and crystals and witchcraft, which I had never had interest in. Understanding that New Age includes that yoga cult I was a member of, yoga in general, and all of the Law of Attraction promoters I was drawn to, even the raw food movement that I was passionate about for years, and that these practices dominated my adult life, was a game changer. These practices are not of Christ and in fact many are condemned in the Bible, so therefore I was worshipping false prophets, committing the sin of idolatry while believing myself to be in the Light and doing good.
(Part 6):
There are too many sins, too much darkness, to name here. The entire time I believed myself to be a wise person who embraced the truth and the belief systems I identified with had very good intentions and brought Light to the world. I was so deceived! But in realizing this, while incredibly humbling, it has enabled me to relinquish my past life and embrace a new one that puts my relationship with Jesus at the very center. It is the most important relationship of my entire life. It is filling that spiritual void inside me, that emptiness I am able to see now in others. He has become my Father, my confidante and supporter, my guide and teacher, my best friend. I communicate with Him now all day long.
(Part 7):
I have struggled to understand what has happened to me in such a short time. Everything feels and looks different now. Things that used to impress me seem worldly and empty now, not of God. I'm even seeing art I used to find beautiful to be ugly. I can feel how lost the world is, and I can see that this is Satan's doing. I see him working through world leaders and governments. I see him all over Hollywood. I don't see celebrities the same way either. I don't envy them and in fact their lives seem like a struggle bc Satan comes at them hard, wanting to use their influence for his agenda. They seem the epitome of worldly and corrupt. I understand why so many have succumbed to addiction and suicide. They were under demonic influence and lost any connection to God. The world buried them.
(Part 8):
In trying to understand what has happened to me in this short time, the only way I can describe it is say that I have been saved and now fall under the category of "born again" Christian. There were many struggles and dark times for me leading up to this, including an abusive relationship with two different Narcissists. Both I believe were sent to destroy my spirit and they did not succeed. I believe there has been a battle for my soul and that Jesus stepped in at the right time and saved me from the last one, who was a brutal emotional abuser, a wicked man. I see Christ's invisible hand in fact throughout my life and twice I believe he has saved me from death. This is the first time he has sent the Holy Spirit to really get my attention.
(Part 9):
It's almost 2023 and I am beyond excited to begin this new year as a follower of Christ, who I see as my heavenly Father, my true Father, separate from my earthly biological follower. I thank Him now for the many blessings he has bestowed on my life. I have struggled with a victim mentality for as long as I can remember, always complaining about this or that injustice, rarely expressing gratitude or seeing His blessings. My earthly father is the same way! I now put daily gratitude at the center of my faith.
(Part 10):
Thank you for reading this long post! I had so much to share. I'm wondering if you have experienced any of the same? I haven't told a soul yet in my regular life about this. I have always been surrounded by non Believers, many very educated and intelligent people who are good people they just look down on Believers as either simple minded or judgmental holy rollers. Me sharing my new faith, I might as well get up on a table and shout out that I was abducted by aliens. :)

>>40619963Just to be clear, the testimony in the screenshot I shared there isn't mine.
As far as my personal testimony, it's really too long and multi-faceted to share in a brief manner. But over the years I've had many supernatural experiences and struggles with sin, and only Jesus has been able to save me every time I turn back to Him.
I can't stress enough how much of a deceiver the devil and his demons are. They will help cause thoughts, feelings and delusions that you won't even be aware comes from them. I pray that the various testimonies I share will help open someone's eyes on here. Please don't die in your sins.
>he's still going
Gotta admit the man has stamina.
>>40624087Christians face persecution in various parts of the world, with notable areas including parts of the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Countries like North Korea, Somalia, Libya, Eritrea, and Yemen are often cited as having the highest levels of persecution. In these regions, Christians may experience violence, discrimination, restrictions on religious practice, and even displacement from their homes.
Countries of Particular Concern (USCIRF): Burma, China, Eritrea, India, Iran, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and Vietnam are frequently cited as countries where Christians face significant persecution.
Areas with Increased Violence: Civil wars and insurgencies in countries like Myanmar, Yemen, and Sudan have created environments where Christians are targeted. Islamist insurgencies in CAR, DRC, Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger have also led to increased violence against Christian communities.
In likely the near future, the Antichrist will make it globally illegal and punishable for anyone to be a follower of Jesus. What is written in the Book of Revelations will come to pass. And that includes what the fate will be of those who reject Jesus and instead choose to worship the Antichrist.
