*sigh* People write a lot of things down about gods that they didn't get from the gods. There are multiple versions of some gods, I presume because of stories that contradict each other: They can't both be true about one god, therefore it must be two gods. Even if I were out of my mind and only *thought* I was in contact with Aphrodite, I certainly wouldn't take a person's view over hers.
