I don't know if you have gone outside in the last 10 years, but on a dry environment there isn't fog 20 meters in front of you (that tree is already at 50% opacity). I went hiking 2 days ago and shit was clean, here's a photo from another trip a couple of weeks ago. No fog, even on the mountains 5 kilometers away (my knees still hurt).
But you want to convince me that a tree 20 meters behind you on a dessert with look foggy?
